We strongly believe that education enables people to attain better living conditions

What is more difficult: climbing on these forbidding mountains, or maintaining afloat a major education project in Nepal? Magnificent mountaineers, you achieve stature by reaching summits through acrobatic efforts, but you do not forget the education of children down below so that they can benefit from a different existence compared to their parents and grand-parents, porters of material at wide open heights!

LOCAL POPULATION
The local population is made up of several ethnic groups, for example: Sherpa, Tamang, Rai, Magar and others. The majority are Sherpas, best known for their mountaineering skills and gaining renown through Tenzing Norgay Sherpa who accompanied Sir Edmund Hillary when they were the first to reach the summit of the wold’s highest mountain Mount Everest (8,848 meters) in 1953.
