Putting instruction into practice

Former participants have been recruited to construct tables and benches for Lukla school.
Recently, we were asked by the Lukla School Committee to finance the new furniture in the computer room. Since many youngsters in the district have participated in the carpentry/joinery summer courses financed by our association, we requested that these youngsters be called on to build the wooden equipment required to accommodate the new computers. A great saving has been made, avoiding the cost of transport by plane from Kathmandu! WIN-WIN
