The association, though managed by volunteers, comply with the highest standards in corporate governance.
The accountancy and the strict respect of the bylaws are audited yearly by an independent fiduciary which reports directly to the General Assembly.
The tax exemption granted to Swiss tax payers makes also the association accountable to the Swiss authorities that may control at anytime the use of the money paid by the members or donators.
The committee members have all visited Lukla and participated to the school creation of the region. Their involvement is based on their love for the region and its people.
At least one member goes periodically to Nepal to supervise the use of the association money.
