Denis Bertholet

Born in Montreux in 1929, Denis Bertholet is a professional mountain guide, ski-teacher, photographer and cameraman graduated of The Ecole d'Arts Appliqués of Vevey. He joined or organized various expeditions and trekking in the Himalaya, India, Tibet, and Nepal. He helped to found the primary school in Lukla in 1984 and the secondary school in Chaurikharka in 1991-92.
